Artificial Intelligence units exist to a limited degree. While AI cannot be programmed to think freely or creatively, they have high levels of free logical thinking making them ideal for high level management jobs. At the moment there are two AI operating within MDZ both built and deployed by AsterCorps. It is unknown if the AI are utilized for any nefarious purposes.
"Monitor" is the AI that has full management over the city grids public transportation system, it spends most of its processing power making sure every mode of public transportation both ground and air. Since its introduction in 2134, there has not been a single hiccup in the public transportation that wasn't caused by human error.
"Foreman" is the AI that is the manager for AsterCorp's construction efforts but is primarily meant to monitor the progress of the space elevator construction. It focuses on cutting costs, managing power and resources and managing the thousands of workers that are assigned to the project.
